LU Circle Line: Aldgate to Aldgate circular - BVE2

This is an authentic BVE route written by Paul Jobber. Please be aware the route is still in it's original 'early' BVE2 state, no smooth curves or realistic LU signalling.

Route Overview

You begin your duty at Aldgate, travelling on the anticlockwise or inner rail working around the Circle, finishing back at Aldgate nearly an hour later.

The timetable is taken from the mid '80's, and features three route variations; Standard weekday timetable, weekday timetable with no waiting time, and a Sunday [limited stop] service.

The route almost entirely consists of brand new, bespoke freeobjects. If any route authors wish to use them for routes, please contact Paul by the e-mail link at the bottom of this page.

You will see other C stock trains on Circle, District and Hammersmith and City Line trains, and A stock (built 1960-1962) running on the Metropolitan Line. The Met, H&C and Circle Line share tracks from Aldgate Junction until Baker Street Junction. The District Line joins the route at Edgware Road, where these trains terminate.

The circle line is operated by the six car (3 x 2 car units) C stock trains, built by Metro-Cammell between 1969 and 1977.

Any comments regarding the route should be forwarded to >Paul<
